Today Bo posted a beautiful blog about Memorial Day. He put up pictures from when he was in Iraq and Afghanistan and also passed on an email story about the origin of "Taps". I was the only person around when the post went up, so I started a thread in the forum to let people know there was a new blog up on the front page.
That's all well and good, right? Well, it was until somebody had to challenge the authenticity of the email story. Good grief. You know, I don't really care if it was historically accurate or not. If I, or anybody else for that matter, was interested in the history of the song, we know how to do research for ourselves. I have a Master's Degree. I'm not an idiot. But some people poke their two cents in every time, condescending to everyone, including Bo. It is really getting old and irritating.

You can say that again! I knew better but I just could not stand that she keep on saying it so I just had to let her have it. Probably shouldn't have but sometimes ya just got to speak your mind. Ya know?
