Monday's Memories

Ok, last week was simply overwhelming. It was so much fun and jam-packed with Bo. Seven days in a row...of Bo. Unbelievable! So, I have decided to take one day a week and describe the events of the day I spent in Nashville last week.

On Monday, I met Debbie in Huntsville and off we went to Nashville, her Blazer packed to the brim with clothes and food and stuff. We went directly to Hermitage Lanes and set up our chairs. The people in line were very nice and we told them we were leaving to check in our room. We went to Walgreen's and Target and then to the airport to get Deb.

We headed to the Ramada, checked in, and put up everything. Diane and her sister got in, freshened up, and off we went to Hermitage Lanes again. We didn't have to wait in line long and we flew inside and got stools on the far left side at Lane 3. Bo was assigned Lane 12 and we could see him pretty well from where we were.

They provided a barbecue dinner and several artists were at the tee shirt tables signing autographs. I saw the Roys, Buddy Jewell, Hollywood Yates, a couple of young cowboys, David St. Romaine, Trent Tomlinson, Dean Sams, and lots of others. I had everyone sign my tee shirt.

We moved down to Lane 12 to watch Bo bowl and cheer him on. He looked at me and smiled and gave me the thumbs up at one point. Later on he looked at me with this eyebrows up expression. He isn't the best bowler, but we cheered loud and long for him. He was adorable with a little six year old boy on his team. Our cheering seemed to help because he got a strike!

Dean Sams was in the lane next to Bo and he wanted us to yell for him and we did. Bo was busy signing autographs and talking to the media. At one point he was talking to the media and pointed to us and then up, like we were number one.

Afterwards he told us to meet him down at the end for a group shot. We did and he gave everyone high fives.

We had the idea to write DEAN on napkins and hold them to the front of our shirts for Dean. He came and had a group picture with us. He's a really nice guy.
Sue won Bo's shirt, and I don't know what kind of cologne he was wearing, but it was heavenly smelling. I asked her if she was going to sleep with it! LOL I think someone got a shot of me sniffing it! Reba won his bowling ball. I didn't smell of it...BWAH.

It was a great evening. Sue, Jen and Judy came over to our room and we made some shirts for the Nash Trash tour we were taking on Tuesday.

It was a wonderful day!
