California, here he comes!

Bo is doing a run of shows in California starting tomorrow night. Man, I'd LOVE to be there but going to shows that far away involves way too much time away from work because of the travel time. I'm so glad that the girls out west are getting their turn for some Bo shows. I cannot imagine going without one for so long.

I'll admit it, I'm spoiled. If I go longer than 2 months I go a tad bit stir-crazy. Going to these shows has become a part of my life. A regular, normal part and when that normality gets messed up, well, I'm messed up. I feel restless.

Thankfully I haven't had to go too very long without a show since I started seeing him in 2005. You know, the man probably thinks that I, and perhaps some of the other regulars, have no life whatsoever! Oh, but I do. I have a loving husband of 30 years, a grown daughter and two grown sons, my mom, and three dogs, a cat and a bird in my life!! Librarianship is my chosen profession and I've been at it for fifteen years. I read voraciously, enjoy cooking, and play Scrabble on my iphone until my eyes cross! See, I'm normal, Bo! Perfectly normal except for the fact that I've let you into my life and heart, too. Bo is a person who is really only an acquaintance, but I think of him as one of my family. I rejoice when he has good things happen to him and I grieve when he's sick or hurt or disappointed. Strange? Maybe. But I wouldn't change it for anything.

I sure wish I could be at those California shows. The show in Florida last Saturday night was on fire according to the girls who were there. He looked so very happy in his pictures and videos and that makes me happy.

There are two shows in North Carolina in a couple of weeks that I really, really want to go to but I just can't seem to find the funds at this time. It's disappointing to say the least because some of my closest friends are going to be there. Maybe there'll be a miraculous happening and I'll somehow get to go. I doubt it, but a girl can hope, can't she?

In the meanwhile, I'll have to be happy with the new tee shirt I ordered this morning with an absolutely beautiful graphic on it. That's it at the top of the blog. And I'll have to be happy with the pictures and videos that other lucky ones will post for the rest of us at bobice.com.
