Cherokee, North Carolina

This is a picture I found online of the Cherokee Fairgrounds, where Bo is going to perform.

Cherokee, N.C. is only a few days away. I'm looking forward to going even if it's going to be a whirlwind of a trip. Seeing a concert on an Indian Reservation will be cool. I suppose Bo made friends with the Chief when they were fishing together at the Porter Wagoner fishing tournament this summer. I know that it's going to be a lot of fun. There are not too many Peeps going; I suppose it's because it's in the middle of the week. He put up a picture today of himself at rehearsal on his Zannel. I hope he throws in a new song or two to the setlist.

We did get a new song added to Bandbox today. It's Send that Elevator Back Down, a song he wrote for Billy Powell and Larry Childers. It's simple and pure and just beautiful. You can hear a sample of it and purchase the download for 99 cents at bobice.com .
