Georgia on my MInd

It's only a little over a week until the Georgia show that is going to be held in a quarry. Talk about unique! We all chipped in and purchased a sponsor table so we're going to be right up front. It's a full band show and I'm so ready for it! I got some good acoustic Bo earlier this year and now I'm ready for full blown rocking out!

The misunderstanding that happened last Friday was very unfortunate. I doubt if we'll ever hear anything from him that clarifies things completely, but I solved the mystery I think, so it's all good. He is a good hearted person. Just this week I heard about something else that he did for someone that was so kind and thoughtful. Sometimes I wish I could just talk to him privately. I have a couple of things I'd like to tell him and also a couple of things I'd love to know. Maybe someday the opportunity will arise and I can. There have been a couple of times I've been in a small group with him and it was such a pleasure. He's funny and witty and kind and just an ordinary good guy. It's not fair when people elevate him to status of god or superstar rocker. The expectations are just so unrealistic. I get so angry at some of his fans who are demanding something from him it seems all the time. Posed pictures, hair down, more blogs, more phone calls, on and on and on.

Bo's got a new toy to play with, Zannel. It's a website where you can post your status, pictures and video via your computer or phone and communicate with people. He's made a few short movies and a couple of pictures and passed them on in the past week. Such a sweet thing for him to do and completely above and beyond anything ordinary performers do for their fans.

He shared with us his trip to Peavy while in MS for the benefit for Ean Evans. He was so cute and when he grinned at the end of that clip I thought he looked adorable and so very happy. And that is what I wish for his life- total happiness and contentment. If he never says another word to me, if I never get another thing signed, have another photo with him or meet and greet, I'll still consider myself extremely blessed to have received so much from him. As his cousin Evie said recently, "Bo's not a taker, he's a giver."
