Seth and Bo
Me, Bo and DebbieToday we went to Pelham to the poker run for the second year in a row. Amazingly, my husband and two sons wanted to go with me. We arrived fairly early and some of the girls had saved a table. We ordered up some beer and sat there and caught up with things.
Eventually we saw Bo arrive. His mom was out there with him and after they posed for pictures with some people, they made their way inside up to the front. Caroline and the boys were there and so was her father. By the time Bo got in, the band was already playing. He danced with his boys and had a big time listening to the music. They started calling for him to come onstage, so up he went and sang REMEDY! I've never heard him sing that live before! He picked up Aidan and made a segway into Sweet Home Alabama. Little Caleb wasn't left out; Bo lifted him onstage and danced around with him, too! I think I enjoyed Bo interacting with his babies as well as I enjoyed anything today!
We noticed people lining up getting pics and autographs while the band played on. We decided to wait. We saw Bo heading out, so we hit the trail and went out also. Debbie and I talked to him for a bit and had our pic made. Hubby talked to him about his upcoming surgery since Bo has had basically the same thing done. And my youngest son talked to him and was completely blown away. Bo was so kind and said some awfully nice things to my family.
Later on we walked out to where he was leaving and he chatted with me about the Helena show. Seth talked to him about Nascar stuff and he thanked us for coming to visit him at his home. He really emphacized that point and it's obvious how much he loves that area. And believe you me, they love him too! There was a huge crowd there today, much larger than last year. It was a fun time and I'm so glad I went!
