Rockin' through the Rain

This benefit was held at The Limelight in Nashville. Debbie and I drove up, met Jen, and got to the venue around 6. There was a lot of merchandise up for auction and I bid on a signed Nascar poster for Seth. I was the only bidder, and I won it! It was a huge poster, so I told the girls that I was going to go out and put it in the Yukon.

Much to my surprise, as I walked out into the parking lot, Bo had just arrived and was getting his guitar out of his back seat. He said, "Well hey, Lisa", and came over and we chatted for a few minutes. He thought the poster was cool. It was Earnhardt, and that's his favorite you know. ;)

Back inside, I enjoyed listening to the other entertainment, including Vinny from Trailer Choir. He is so funny and is super talented. They had an auction to see how much they could earn to have him do the worm. He raised quite a bit and it was during this bidding time that I found out Bo was going to be in Winchester, TN the 21st of August! Happy Happy! Joy Joy!

Bo performed several songs and was his customary funny, sweet self. He charms everyone in the room wherever he is at. This was one trip that was definitely worth making. I had a fantastic time.
